Small changes, printing update

The laser printer is very particular about the finish on the paper. If there is any hint of gloss, it sticks to the other sheets. :-( The new flat, matte paper is 120 grams, not 135 gram, like the semi-gloss. It really isn't noticeable. The other option was a thicker weight, but that did not print well and gave the test project a "poofy" appearance. We hope this change is okay!

Printing is finally underway! We got off to a bumpy beginning, with ink blotches from the rollers, paper jams and the interior paper was cut 20mm (1/4 inch)too short!

Cleanings and adjustments were made to the printer, including one for high altitude. I never knew altitude affected laser toner printing, did you?

Last night we got more heavy weight exterior paper and more interior pages. This time I measured before leaving the paper place, and yes, the pages were cut to exact size. AMEN!

As I am writing this, copies of "Going to a New Farm" are rolling off the printer! Slowly, but surely.
